What is the TOPdesk API?

The TOPdesk API enables a developer to retrieve data from TOPdesk and use this data somewhere else, and to bring about actions in TOPdesk.

Every developer using TOPdesk's API agrees to the following conditions for the use of TOPdesk data and TOPdesk's API.

Use of the API

Fair use

TOPdesk has a fair use policy with regard to the use of the API:

• Do not develop obscene or hurtful manifestations with the API.
• Respect the server capacity of the TOPdesk environment.

TOPdesk reserves the right to limit the number of requests sent by you to the TOPdesk API at our own discretion at any time and without prior notification. TOPdesk also reserves the right to deny you access to the API when we deem it necessary.

Mentioning the origin of the API

The developer mentions, at a location in his or her developed application which is conveniently accessible for end users, the purpose for which the TOPdesk content is created and that it '... is developed with the TOPdesk API'.

Copying parts

It is not allowed to copy, change, spread, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative work of the TOPdesk solutions or parts of it.

Support

TOPdesk can choose to end the API support at our own discretion at any time and without prior notification.

Risk and liabilities

The use of the API is entirely at your own risk. TOPdesk does not offer any guarantees, the API is supplied 'AS IT IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE'. TOPdesk also does not guarantee that the applications developed by you which use the TOPdesk API will function (without failure) or continue to function after the software is updated or upgraded.

TOPdesk cannot be held liable for errors, defects, or imperfections. TOPdesk cannot be held liable for any form of damage or financial loss concerning you or third parties resulting from the use of the API. The developer indemnifies TOPdesk for any of these liabilities. TOPdesk cannot be held liable for any form of damage or financial loss that occurs when TOPdesk ends the API support.

Changes in the terms and conditions

It is possible that TOPdesk will change these conditions without prior notice. Changes can be found on this page.

TOPdesk holds the right to (technically) change or end the API.

Dutch law

The Dutch law applies to the legal relationship deriving these conditions.
